Backstory
Rodríguez made his MLB debut last season, when he recorded a total of 145 hits, 28 home runs and 75 RBIs (which Rodríguez already surpassed this season).
He has been one of the American League’s most productive hitters in the second half of the 2023 season, returning to the hitter he was in 2022. This season, Rodríguez became just the second player in MLB history to have 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases in each of his first two seasons.
