- Miami acquired the All-Pro in a trade with the Los Angeles Rams in March. As part of the deal, the Dolphins agreed to fully guarantee Ramsey’s contract for the 2023 and 2024 seasons, a league source told The Athletic.

Ramsey recorded 88 tackles, four interceptions and 18 passes defended last season.
A three-time first-team All-Pro selection, he has tallied 452 total tackles, 19 interceptions and six forced fumbles in his seven-year career. He started his NFL career with the Jaguars, who drafted him with the No. 5 pick in 2016, before being traded to the Rams during the 2019 season.
Los Angeles signed Ramsey to a five-year deal worth $100 million before the 2020 season.
